Who can join

Local suppliers

Any approved local product under your own brand: food and drinks, bakery, cleaning products, toiletries, personal care, and fresh produce. You set your price and are paid monthly by EFT, with a statement.

Supplier development

Wholesalers

One consolidated purchase order a cycle. You only see total quantities; RMK packs per shop at your loading bay and pays cash on collection.

Bakkies and trucks of any size. Loads are planned by route, weight and volume, paid per kilometre.

Shops that receive local suppliers' goods for the next RMK delivery, and earn 10% on what passes through.

Example: you sell one of your products to shops at R 20.00. Fees are taken from your price, never added on top, and shown on your monthly statement.

What you need to apply

  • CIPC registration, or your ID if you trade on your own
  • Tax number, and VAT number if registered
  • Bank confirmation letter
  • Food safety certificate (for food and drink products)
  • Your product list with pack sizes

What happens next

  1. 1Apply online in about five minutes.
  2. 2We check your documents and may visit you. You can follow your status online.
  3. 3Approved: list your products and prices, or bid on open tenders.
  4. 4Receive orders and get paid monthly.
